سازمانهای جبهه ملی
ایران در خارج از کشور
P.O. Box 136 اول ماه ژوئیه 2009 عالیجناب اقای بان کی مون دولت ایران که مواجه با بحران مشروعیت میباشد با بکار بردن خشونت سعی در اختناق و سرکوبی مردم مینماید. مردمی که میخواهند با استفاده از راههای مسالمت آمیز بآزادی های حقه خویش وبرخورداری از اساس حقوق بشر نائل بشوند. سازمان ملل متحد مّوجه ترین سازمان بین المللی است که بحقوق بشر اهمیت میدهد.
سازمان ملل متحد بر اساس منشور آن که مؤکدآ
"ضامن حقوق بشر و منزلت و ارزشهای انسانها و
برابری حقوق زنان و مردان و ملت های اعم از
بزرگ و کوچک"، تأسیس گردیده است. جبهه ملی ایران که توسط آزادیخواهان ایران برهبری دکتر محمد مصدق در سال 1349 با هدف اصلی تأمین برگزاری انتخابات آزاد پایه گزاری شده بود، همواره سازمان عمده طرفدار دمکراسی در ایران باقی مانده است. جبهه ملی ایران قوبآ مخالفت خود را به نقض فاحش حقوق بشر در ایران ابراز میدارد. سازمانهای جبهه ملی ایران در خارج از کشور بدینوسیله توجه شما را نسبت به نقض گسترده و آشکار حقوق بشر نسبت بمردم ایران معطوف میدارد. سازمان ملل متحد میتواند نقش سازنده ای در جلوگیری از بحران فعلی و وخامت اوضاع کنونی و خونریزیهای بسیار داشته باشد. همانگونه که سازمان ملل در حل و فصل اختلافات در سراسر جهان از جمله در افریقا جنوبی، نامیبیا، کامبوج و ترور رفیق حریری در لبنان از خود نشان داده است. سازمان ملل متحد میتواند نقش تاریخی خود را بطور فعال و مؤکد نسبت به حل و فصل مسائل کنونی ایران و حمایت ازطرح های پیشنهادی زیر بعمل آورد. همانطور که آگاهی دارید بدنبال انتخابات مخدوش ریاست جمهوری در ایران، مأمورین امنیتی حکومت بسرکوبی بیرحمانه و بازداشت تعداد زیادی از فعالان، طرفداران دمکراسی و معترضین علیه تقلب در انتخابات پرداختند. و نیز بحملات خشونت آمیز بمنازل مخالفین و خوابگاههای دانشجویان دانشگاه توسط مأمورین ملبس به لباس شخصی اقدام نمودند. ما از شما تقاضا داریم طی بیانیه ای رسمی و عمومی در دفاع از جنبش دمکراسی در ایران و نیز پشتیبانی علنی از تعیین گزارشکر ویژه شورایعالی حقوق بشر در سازمان ملل بنمائید. تاتحقبق در مورد اعمال خشونت نسبت بمردم ایران و تعدی حکومت نسبت به تظاهرات مسالمت آمیز فعالین طرفدار دمکراسی بپردازد. اقایان دکترمحسن قائم مقام و احمد پاکزاد (قاضی بازنشسته و وکیل دادگستری ایران) به نمایندگی سازمانهای جبهه ملی ایران در خارج از کشور تعیین گردیده اند. ایشان جزئیات این مطالب راگفتگو نموده و چگونگی بذل مساعی از طریق مجاری دیپلماتیک سازمان ملل در حل این مسائل و منازعات و جلوگیری از خشونت های بیشتر را پبگیری خواهند نمود. هیآت اجرائیه سازمانهای جبهه ملی ایران در خارج از کشور

Box 136 Audubon Station New York City, NY 10032 July 1, 2009 The Honorable Ban Ki-moon, Secretary General of the United Nations United Nations New York City, NY 10017 Your Excellency, The Iranian government, which is suffering from crisis of legitimacy, is using violence to subdue a people who use nonviolence to gain their freedom and basic human rights. The United Nations is the world’s most legitimate international organization concerned with human rights. The United Nations was founded, according to its Charter, “to reaffirm faith in fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of the human person, in the equal rights of men and women and of nations large and small.” The Iranian government is a signatory of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which obligates it to adhere to all its stipulations including Article 21, which declares: “Everyone has the right to take part in the government of his country, directly or through freely chosen representatives... The will of the people shall be the basis of the authority of government; this will shall be expressed in periodic and genuine elections...” As you are fully aware, the elections in Iran are neither democratic nor free. The regime only allows trusted members of the ruling oligarchy to run. What has caused the recent protests is that the government does not even respect the votes for candidates that the regime itself had already approved. The Iran National Front (INF) was founded by Iranian democrats under the leadership of Dr. Mohammad Mossadegh in 1949 with the main objectives of securing free and fair elections. The INF continues to be the main pro-democracy organization in Iran. The INF strongly opposes the gross violations of the human rights of the Iranian people by the Iranian government. We, the Iran National Front-Abroad, would like to request your attention to the massive and flagrant violations of human rights of the Iranian people. The UN could play a constructive role in preventing the current crisis from deteriorating into massive bloodshed. The UN has helped resolve disputes around the world including those in South Africa, Namibia, Cambodia, and the assassination of Rafiq Hariri in Lebanon. The UN could reaffirm its historical role and actively work toward the resolution of conflict engulfing Iran by supporting the following proposals.
As
you are aware, following the fraudulent
presidential election in the Islamic
Republic of Iran, the state security forces
have suppressed and arrested large number of
pro democracy activists and the protesters
against election rigging. Invasion of the
dissidents’ homes and violent attacks on
dormitories of university students by
state-sponsored plain cloth agents have been
particularly egregious and cruel. We appeal
to you to make a public statement in defense
of democracy movement in Iran and openly
support the appointment of a Special
Rapporteur by the UN Human Rights Council to
investigate the atrocities the Iranian
government has committed against peaceful
